The Oxford Pirates is an ORSA allstar team that was formed out of Oxford County, Ontario, Canada in spring
of 2008. It was formed by current players (Josh Killing, & Neal Hallock). They formed it by calling together all the many
players they grew up playing against through minor ball. All the players chosen for the team are the best players from their
own teams, these allstars first came together back in May in the Mitchell Fastball Fest in Mitchell, ON. They finished a respectable
second place. The Pirates feel they lost due to the lack of playing together in the past. Another contribution to the
loss they feel is because all players were aloud to bat and it wasn't the 9 man roster system that the Pirates were built
to play in. This was proven in the July 4,5,6th tournament in Frankenmuth, Michigan as the Pirates won the tournament and
as for the team that beat them back in may... well they failed to even finish in the top 3 of this true 9 man roster tournament.
The Pirates are now being sent to Kimberly, Wisonsin for the under 19 world championships, all support is appreciated.
